Stories tell of intelligent horse sized wolves that guard the valley where the hidden city of [[Tenandryl]] lies. Thought to be mythical until [[GriswaldGem|Griswald]] of the Companions appeared riding a giant wolf named [[Zegrr]]. 

The [[Tenani]] claim many of their dogs are descended from Great Wolves.
