======The Kin Wars====== 
At various times since the [[TimeofReaving|Time of Reaving]], dwarven kings have attempted to reunite the dwarf kingdoms. There have been 14 to 18 of these wars, depending on the historian writing about the event. This can be very confusing, as some historians will refer to the same events as happening during the 9th Kin war, while others will refer to these same events as happening during the 7th Kin war, and still others will use the 10th Kin war. The only one that all historians agree upon is the First Kin War, which lasted from the time of reaving until 50 AR. Truly dedicated historians now refer to events by their date and year also, so that works can be compared more accurately.
