======The Order of the Dragon’s Flame======

A Templar Order of Knights dedicated to protecting the priests and priestesses of [[Rama]] and [[Chala]]. Founded in 1018 AE by legendary [[CompanionsofLight|Companions]] [[JothamofAradhai|Jotham]] and [[CourtneyBlackmyn|Courtney]], at the request of [[AndrellMorgonson|King Andrell]]. Knights and Monks of the Order represent the virtues of honor, chivalry and order.

Although initially funded from the coffers of King Andrell, the order is entirely self supporting now, relying on it's members, private contributions and an unknown source of wealth controlled by Jotham. 

=====The Ways of the Order=====
Within the order itself are two different philosophies that work well together in accomplishing the King's Charter. Both ways follow the teachings of [[Rama]], and members of both ways live together, eat together and worship together. All of the order are known as Brothers (no matter man or woman), and addressed as “Brother Knight” or “Brother Monk”

====The Way of the Dragon====

Jotham’s branch of the order, those of this way are known as "Knights". They are usually in full armor and many are trained as heavy cavalry, complete with lances. Like a dragon, their way emphasizes ceremony and strength. They are responsible for the security of the Raman Temples and the order's monasteries.

Courtney’s branch of the order, those of this way are known as "Monks". As fully trained in combat techniques as those of the Dragon, their way shuns armor, preferring stealth and speed in combat. Like the flame, their way strives to be untouchable and yet, still burn. Because they don't carry the full regalia of armor and weapons that the Dragon's do, they are the preferred bodyguards of the Sisters of Life.
