Book of Theclan
The covers and spine of this book are of embossed silver, with the finest leather “hinges”. The spine carries an intricate celtic knot like design and the words “Book of Theclan”. The front and back covers contain only finely wrought knotwork designs. The title is written in Enshallen. The pages are of the finest translucent vellum and show no signs of aging. The script is written in a metallic black ink, and exhibits the finest in calligraphic penmanship. The text is written in arcane magic.
There are six illustrations in the book, the most noticeable being of five crystal amulets. The rest are just intricate patterns that look as if they are meant to be traced. The book exhibits a faint magical glow, but low power detect magic spells and effects won't reveal it as magic. The first page of the text is readable, however, the rest of the text seems to be gibberish. Any wizard attempting to read and/or make sense of this gibberish must make his willpower, or fall asleep.
