The Lost Diary Society
Originally founded in the late 1300s by Delise Olean, a student at the University of Caspary. Delise became convinced that Valanthe Michaels, one of the founders of the University and one of the Disciples of Cerelia's Ascension, had a private diary that had been lost. Delise was also convinced that the diary (or more likely diaries) would have far more insight on the Disciples of the Ascension, than Val's public writings.
She founded the LDS with several other students, who dedicated their school years to finding the diary. Many of the students continued the search the rest of their lives, both on and off the University grounds. To this day, this semi-secret society continues the search for Valanthe's lost diary. There is no formal membership in the society, it consists solely of “hobbyists” who search records and play hunches to find the missing writings. To join the society, one must be invited in by another member.
